Would like to know.
Just as the title states.
Well I have not entered into email marketing yet much just from my own lists. And as far as I have seen buying lists all suck, So i would like to know as well thanks OP for starting this.
Getting the product out on someone's ezine list has worked wonders for me, so I didn't bother with buying email lists because of what i read about it thus far.
But some day when i have more time, that email is on the agenda for sure.
I have had good luck with a few campaigns I brokered last year with a company in chicago called expeditemediagroup
I would be interested to hear if anyone else has had any luck renting email list. I have never tried it, but I have always thought it could be a good money maker if you got the right list with the right offer.
I'm interested in this as well. Anyone know of a good place to rent?
I am also hoping someone can answer that, I made a topic asking that no too long ago and got no responses. I would guess that any list for rent is going to be crap but if you can convert at least half of 1% then it would all be worth it.
What do you guys look for in a good list exactly? Just wondering because I recently came upon a solid source of businesses, phone, email and website, not conventional method to obtaining the list so it's not over abused contacts.
It's about responsiveness. The best kind of list are users who have opted into your list voluntarily and have bought your product.
You have 2 lists: A freebie list and a buyers list
You want to move people from the freebie list (people who just opted in for free info) into the buyers list (those who have bought a product in the past and thus are willing to buy more).
I'd stay away from renting an email list. Most of the people who get these lists milk them for all they are worth them pass them on to people who think they are going to get easy money.
I use the email list service sometimes.... I also got some good B2B email lists.... I use the service from a website called:- extensior.com
By far the best email list selling company.
Does Hoovers sell email addresses or do they just allow you to mail to the list you buy?
It's best to build your own list using sqeeze pages since you don't really know the quality of these list brokering services. It takes time. However, depending on your target market, you can contact the trade association or COC.
