what is better to have a good DA or PA?

I need some advice, what is better a good DA or PA? I know that both play a major factor on Rank and Trust, but what would be more suitable to have in order to help rank/boost a brand new site?

Would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks

I tend to value DA slightly more than PA. Higher DA = More overall trust of an entire site which means more individual pages are more likely to rank.

I also tend to favor DA metric more than PA also it's more widely used because of Moz.

Do external links play a major factor on trust, the more external links the more my DA is valued as trustworthy?

Let's say i have 100 internal links and 10k external links, would that play a factor?
Does moz read that as 'hey this site has a bunch of high quality value links, its trustworthy'?

DA is more important than PA imo, however some people say these metrics aren't really accurate.

Decided to come back to this. I've done a little more research and have learned all factors play a role in how your site is ranked.

I prefer to have a better DA with quality content and strong resourceful back links than cheap backlinks with no relevancy to my topic.

what is better to have a good DA or PA?
