    Hello guys,

i'm about to start my first amazon affiliate site. I found nice buyer kw with low competition and i don't know if i should build a site on nice expired domain or EMD. Or maybe register a few expired domains and redirect them to EMD. Have anyone of you tried this yet? I couldn't find anything for this topic on the forum. Thanks

In the short term almost definitely the expired domain. EMDs are nice but they do not hold the power that they once did.

An EMD is nice and all but sometimes if the EMD is exceptionally long it can look kind of amateurish (just my opinion) and it does limit your choices somewhat as to what you can realistically promote with it.

Hmm ok, thanks. And what do you think about redirecting some expired domains to money site? Can it pass some juice and boost rankings or is it better to make a little pbn from them?

I would go for a (good) expired domain over EMD.

301 redirect from an expired domain would work too if it's the same niche so the backlinkprofile suits the moneysite.

I would do a partial match brandable name, then build out the PBN domains as mini sites - pbn sites.

If your Amazon affiliate site is going to be content heavy,it's not going to be a thin content site that just targets a particular keyword, you would be better off with an EMD.

Seriously, I know that exact match domains have gotten a bad reputation recently because they no longer have an automatic SEO advantage.

However, since you are building thick content or rich content website, an EMD website will help you.

You may not get a tremendous advantage from the domain name but that's to decide the point.

Your website is geared towards a specific keyword which is directly related to the products that you're going to be talking about on your Amazon affiliate site.

This can have tremendously and positive impact on at the very least user-attention and possibly user engagement.

Focus on conversion, don't just focus on the traffic.
