What is best tool for checking domain age?

    Dont suggest me to Google it I already did. Im looking for tool that is most accurate and gets you domain age even if domain is really young.

    MS does tell the age of a domain, but you would have to analyze the overall SEO competition just to check the domain age, which is too much work. The tools listed above tells you the exact domain date when the domain was registered, and also the number of times it was dropped (if any).

    Ditto of what beazt said on this. This is what I use and I don't believe I've ever seen it fail on this. My SEO Quake returns n/a all the time.

    There is *really* no foolproof way to determine "domain age". When a domain expires the "age" is is 0. If someone registers the domain again, then the 'age' is 1 (current year).

    Try this site whoisxy.xom
    Nowadays there are lot of domain whois lookup tools available for free.I found this site through Google search.Here i got accurate results.

    That is not always the case. Many providers don't keep track of drops or disregard them. Certainly, Google will notice changes.
