ok, it talks about setting up on a site that already has traffic. What happens if I just built my website and its the first one I ever did.

It depends on what the purpose of the site is. If you're into it for the long run focus on quality, contextually relevant links, not a large quantity of "spammy" links. A few good ones will take you much farther than a ton of bad ones.

A great tool to check out is Yahoo's Site Explorer:
    hxxp://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
    (replace the xx's with tt's)

Just type in one of your competitor's websites and click explore URL. On the next page click the inlinks tab. After that page has loaded, select "Except from this Domain" in the first dropdown menu and "Entire Site" in the second dropdown menu. This will show you a large sample of the pages that are linking to your competitor's sites. See if you can figure out a way to leverage those sites for your own benefit.

Since I literally just build my site, is the coop ad something for me?

Or should I hold off until I get more traffic?

I see there are many many sites that I can get backlinks too, but honestly its too time consuming. I have no problem doing that, but I would rather spend time of tweaking my site.

So what else is recommended to get massive backlinks? What about these site submitters, are they legit? If so, which ones?

I know alot of you have some secrets up your sleeve, is there any way you can share some with me. My word is strong, and I would never disrespect someones method. I want to get 2,000 backlinks in May.

Can someone please teach this newcomber how to be a guru.

hmm.. you are better off paying someone for manual submissions. Spammy methods will get you blacklisted from the major search engines pretty quick.

For coops you need traffic in the first place.

Could you just buy junk traffic for this?

I found "13 million backlinks" not really useful. Yes, it does will make you get many links but the value is not there. Why I say that? Because I check out the author's own website, it has hundred of thousands of links but the pagerank is only PR5. Don't you feel something is wrong??

I mean, it's all nice and dandy to comment on blogs...however it takes a long time. For me, I know all that simple stuff, and I do use them, it's just that sometimes I want something that will slam my site with backlinks in a relatively short time.

Site submitting is tedious using software too, so it's not a total solution.

PAD submissions only give a couple hundred links at most it seems so far, but it's pretty immediate and automated which is very nice.

Commenting/forum posting/etc I lump in with tedious as site submitting is...I guess the solution is to just outsource that stuff...

I tried Linktator2 which like a rotating link exchange, however the links weren't that great or numerous even with big industry kw's like mortgage, finance, etc.

There's got to be a better, and quick way to get massive backlinks...hopefully :) ....
