I have read alot of reocmendations for piwik, which looks good but seems alot more complex than I need.

I would be interested in a simple open source solution.

I have used statcounter up to now but like the idea of some open source one. I might host it on free hosting since it doesnt have to be 100% reliable just be on most of the time.

I stopped using hosting completely recently due to my provider failing me. Since I only do redirects now I thought I didnt need it at all and just redirect from the registrar. The problem tho is that on crak or whatever network is they count bot hits so it will show a largely inflated hit count so when I am trying to calculate epc it will be all wrong.

So Id like a simple counter in order to accurately gauge epcs for different offers.

As such I imagine I will want a very basic paid hosting to host the domains with their tracked code since afaik you cant do that with the registrar redirect trick can you since you cant inject and code in there.

Or is there still a way to track hits on a domain without adding any code at all? I would be interested if so as i like to keep matter as simple as possible. Otherwise I will go with the bare bones hosting option.
