Hello! I am a newbie in SEO. Can you please tell me what strategy should I follow for a client ? For Example 100 citations , How many guest posts etc ?

It's so variable. If you need to start somewhere - don't reinvent the wheel - look at your competitors. Dissect their approach, replicate it.

Your question is like "how long is a piece of string?" - it's vague and subjective. We need more information.

I would start with fundamentals of SEO before asking these.

It varies depending upon their current position, niche competition, keyword difficulty, etc
Knowing Competitors strategy help you get an idea of how it is working.

It is based on the competition, keyword position, niche, on-page score, etc.

Basic strategy would be as follows...take their money, pretend you know shit, choose a Fiverr gig, sell them that as a "premium" link package (or choose another wording that will make them trust you), profit.

  1. Use Social Media.
  2. Perform Broken Link Building.
  3. Look at Competitors' Links.
  4. Make Your Website More Visible.
  5. Keep Track of Your Links.
  6. Share Your Content on Forums.
  7. Try Link Reclamation.
  8. Consider Guest Blogging.

You should follow the strategy you used on your sites so you pass the SEO expert test. Otherwise your just a self-proclaimed SEO expert that isn't an expert. Would you be happy if an unskilled joiner built you a house? Or how about an unqualified with no real experience Dr, examining you for a critical health condition?

You should prioritize your portfolio over getting clients when you admit to "me know nuttin!" It allows you to be exactly who your clients and learn for real what their perspective is like, are for several months or years until you are earning from your effort, and you can then prove to clients you know what your talking about, and ultimately you don't need to worry if you have clients or not, your making bank from your own sites.
