I am running an offer but there are NO text ads. Just banners, don't please don't recommend that I just use text ads..

I need to fake banner impressions, and I just have a couple questions.
What can the company tell from an impression? Do they just know how many users saw the image? Or Do they also know any other information, such as the ip addresses of the viewers perhaps?

If they know the ip's then I need to show the image before I redirect (ugh, pain in the ass), but if they don't, then I can just reload the banner from my site a crapload of times to compensate?

    Any ideas?

Why not just copy the banner and then just host it yourself on your website. Then you dont have to worry about impressions.

Ive never used banners, ever, just text links. If i get the rare urge to use a banner i just screen print it and host it myself.

Do you guys mean to just take the image, put it on your own database, and then host it like that?

I thought CPA companies track impressions by the amount of times that the image is requested from their server?

**The offer I want to use ONLY has banners, so yes I do have to worry about impressions.

The fact is, if CPM companies see tons of impressions with no clicks and conversions, they will kick your ass out. CPM companies got wise to that a long time back. If you know one that isn't let us all know ;) We could all make a killing with some auto surf and crappy traffic buys.

If the creative is hosted on their server they can track who is making the call. ip address, what type of server, as detailed as they want to get in-order to prevent what you are trying to do. But that doesn't matter anyway, because if you are not converting traffic into clicks, you're out.

Sure, you could set up scripts that create fake impressions( or pop unders/ups), but you would have to spread those impressions around over tons of proxies, etc... so yeah it takes work. More work than just getting organic, direct and paid traffic. Because there is a 99.9999% chance they will discover this ( yes they belong to BHW and other BH sites) ban you and you won't get paid. So it's wasted time.

Here is an example for you if you choose to go that route:
    http://bit.ly/1VD93w

Do a search for referrer spoofing. That is what you are looking to do.

Or you can try some kind of traffic exchange like hit pulse, auto surf .Do a search on BHW for that

Here's the answer you need to hear: It takes a lot of skill yo beat a company that ALREADY expects you to cheat them. They are already fending off the Chinese, mafia, Nigerians and pro spammers and cheaters. You may get lucky, but not for long. Besides, no clicks, no conversions,no cash.

There are easier ways to make money. And it's easier to get the consumer to do something.

    Good luck

thanks AtomBoy, but I am using real traffic. I am taking craigslist users and sending them to the offer, so yes I am getting clicks, and conversions! The only problem is impressions.
I was thinking of loading the banner quickly before sending them to the offer, would this work? Maybe in an iframe?
