What in the world are "fake" followers?

But as some people said it is effective in a way that real followers may follow you if they see a high followers number. My main problem with fake followers is that all of them look really fake so they're so easy to spot, most of them with arabic names or random bios.

I think it doesn't really matter how they look. They kill your engagement and your chances to end up in the popular page. This is the huge loss.

"fake" accounts are real accounts, they just are not operated by an actual user. It's just a person that made a ton of accounts that are operated by a bot.

How you know that? I know several accounts that bought followers in the past and are often on the popular page.

The more followers you have the more likes you need to hit popular page. If you have fake is way more difficult to collect the likes you need. This is just my opinion based on my experiences. All depends on how many fakes you have compared to your total. They can have a huge or a minimum impact. Anyway I don't see any point in buying fakes. Obviously you are free to think in other ways.
