I have been stuck on #12 for more than 2 months now.
I have 3 G-links, with others, i have 950 links, 50 articles indexed, 150 indexed pages. I have been manually adding high-PR blog links and they all got indexed too! I submitted to some high PR directories 1 month ago, and do not see much results. my domain is .info. I also have 20 press releases which are even in Google News!

I checked the few sites right above me:

1, 2 months older, 6 inlinks (no G-links), no content updates, 12 indexed pages, only thing i see is the domain name ".org", PR-0
2, 1.5 years older, 8 inlinks, 1200 indexed pages, PR-2, keywords not in domain name.
3, a site with absolutely no contents - 1-page site. (domain is .net), PR-0

what in the $%@*#^$ am i not moving up at all????

I found that other tlds other than .com .net and .org are not as easy to rank as those 3. People say otherwise. I just know my .info etc take ALOT more work to get ame results. My .name domain I am about to give up on it is that hard to rank it.

the question is why would you bother trying to rank something if you dont have a .com, .org etc.?

and he said .info was harder not impossible ;p

Infos suck. Used only by spammers and newbies

For every 1000 coms I see ranked I might see an info... and that is only for lame keywords

Like they said man, you can get it ranked but i will take a little extra work. Blast the shit out of it and then blast it again, it will eventually happen.

    the sentence seems unanimous..

now if i get a new .com domain, is there a way not to waste all the work i have put in and all the money i have spent? for example by redirecting? or something else?

Yeah, just do a 301 and build fresh backlinks to the new one

still - the keyword shows 3.5M pages and I am #12 so it's not that bad although #12 is useless. and all the .com .net .org domains are not available.

Be creative, look for some variation of the com that has the keyword in it

No it doesnt. Would be dumb to think like that since 100% of the plain keywords are already taken

    dilute the keyword? lol

All it does is not seem quite as professional.. So use something like "best" or some type of variation. (if your ok with it, some people arent)

and instead of a 301 redirect it sounded like u didnt want to build a whole new site and just use the one that you alrdy created and put it ontop of your new domain?

If this is so just tell your hosting company for your .com that you want your .info site contents migrated over, and they will do this for you.

that doesnt mean your contents are then placed on top of the new domain, its just your url and linkjuice etc is now transferred to the new url.

Now I have article X on both old and new sites. When people click the links to the old site, they land on the new site. However, the article on the new site will probably never get indexed by Google due to duplicate contents (according to my experience) 10 months later, i disconnect the old domain, that will leave all my articles on the new site unindexed.. so i should always keep the old domain?

if i go and change the links in those high-PR blogs (to point to the new domain) which have already been indexed by Google, the G bot will not come back and change the link juice destination right?

I've seen that you have been comparing backlinks and such but have you compared Keyword density?
