What I'm Doing - Please Critique

Ok...

So I'm new to all this BH, been reading these forums about 2-3 hours daily for the past month and 1 thing I have learned is that no one will mentor me my way to earning big cash, that the money is out there and I just need to see the big picture and link all the steps.

So this is what I have been doing, please tell me if I'm doing right or wrong...

I registered with bangbros affiliate, they pay about $35 per sign up, plus they have many programs, the one I'm trying here is Fling.c0m (Adult Personals) free sign up, and then members pay to have premium account. If they go premium I get paid.

Then I watch the unixcommerce guy video on traffic, which has been the hardest for me so far, plus of what I read, content is king.

So I went out there and got 5 Online Dating Articles, changed them a little bit with wordflood and uploaded them here: http://pwkg.n3t/Online_Adult_Dating/ (btw pwkg.n3t is the domain I'm using because I had it before, if I see im on the right track ill buy one more relevant to the subject)

Okay so in each article I have both, 1 banner for my affiliate, and my link to pwkg.n3t, and at pwkg.n3t I just put a meta refresh to Fling.c0m best converting tour...


Now I guess the next step is getting listed on google, and then increasing my page rank. But before that I wanted to know...

I'm I on the right track? If so I will do what I did with those 5 articles 20 more times to have 100, so then I could have at least almost decent amount of content. I think I could automate the process... I just did this on small scale in case it was worthless.

Also, should I make a blog to list/post my articles instead of what am I doing right now?

1. Yes, you are right, this is not Digital Point, so don't expect many to take you by the hand and spoon feed you.
2. Delete the crap you have up there now, then install Wordpress on the root of your directory. Modify a theme (there's thousands of free ones out there), then put your banners and shit on there.
3. Post your articles, then find more articles and keep posting.
4. Get backlinks for your blog, submit to social sites, etc. ONce you have a steady flow of traffic hopefully some will start converting for you.

1 thing that I really still cant find the right way to do is building backlinks :S

once you have a blog and some content, you can start really bringing in some money, i wouldn't do e-whoring, but it works so i can't complain.

On here there is "traf*fic s3crets 2.0" which is worth a read, and blog money, which is crap but it'l give you a few ideas hopfully.

Idea is to get a site with good content etc. then just get as many ******** backlinks & as much traffic as you can!

Most blackhat techniques are designed to help increase traffic, but get basic whitehat done first then when you move to blackhat it'll be alot easier!

Good luck trying to getting organic traffic on the adult scene. You will probably go through a lot of hurdles just to increase your page rank, which by itself means nothing: I have a PR4 idle making me 0 money because I'm not working on it; I have other PR0s who are making me money.

You'll need some unconventional ways when promoting your website. You could try e-whoring yourself on a couple of places on a semi-manual/automatic level, but bear in mind that promoting an offer that requires a CC is much harder than one that only asks for an email (and even that...) that's why the payout is greater.

Wow, someone that actually takes action. People that take action and put some hard work into things usually wind up seeing success down the road.

Now you just have to step back and ask yourself "What is my reason for this website?". Once you have your answer, develop a set of goals, then a step by step outline on how to achieve your goals. I know it sounds like bullshit, but it works.

As for building backlinks, there are plenty of posts here on the subject, even one more recently about getting stealth backlinks using emoticons in forums.

1 sign up famle accounts.
2 got normal famle photo online as your photo.
3 got with male accounts as much as you can
4 aks them go to your website

Couldn't agree more, considering the niche.

I must confess I've never promoted anything within this niche, but this is what I'd do:

- First, I'd try to "understand" the niche. I'd go to quantcast.com and try to analyze the site's audience. I'd analyze the external linking structure ( which sites link to the site I'm promoting ) by doing a link: search in Yahoo. I'd go to Alexa and quantcast again and see related sites. And most importantly: I'd look for forums, groups within web 2.0 sites with similar target and Google/yahoo groups and see what the h--- this guys are talking about, how they get to the sites that interest them, which are those sites, what lingo these people use ( and reproduce it on my site ), etc

In one word: who are these people and how do they move around the internet ?

- Then, I'd look for "soft spots" within that circuit and try to work there.

Considering the niche - and without having done any checking -, I'd say these places could be of interest:

- Certain web 2.0 sites: I'd look for targeted friends; "work" the groups - or build one; or get in touch with the owner of one and ask for some kind of endorsement for your offer or perhaps for some free viral ebook you might write -; or buy targeted advertising ( thinking about Facebook here ). ( I admit my experience here is limited )

- Youtube: The traffic for a free offer about this kind of stuff IS there. Not sure about conversions. Find videos already ranking in the first 2 pages of google and try to make a video response to them. The same for other videos with a lot of views. Choose tags, title and descriptions wisely: you can't imagine how targeted some searches are on YT ( hint: use the "suggest" function in the search box ). Also, think about all those sites currently being made with Youtube content. Don't forget to submit your YT feed: if it's picked by the right site, it can skyrocket your visits.

- Try to buy targeted content advertising on some of the sites you researched before: think adwords and Adbrite. This could be gold. Been there, done that. Hasn't always worked for me, but when it has...

- Take all those articles, PLR articles, or whatever and include them on Scribd.com. If they're interesting enough, you have a community at an Alexa 500 site interested in what you have ( just check some of the stuff that's most popular there or go to Quantcast and analize its audience ). There's some residual income and a good use for your articles. Also, try to target niche keywords in your document, since scribd pages can be very powerful. Go for subniches.

In all cases, try to understand who your audience is and what their state of mind is when they get to you.

Hope this helps. I'd love to hear the experience of some of you, particularly regarding web 2.0 sites.
