Most people around here who have autoblogs have duplicate content. It is very unlikely you have unique content unless you have some type of amazing rewriter which can rewrite your posts and make sense. Otherwise, most people have autoblogs that just fetch RSS feeds and let it do the work.

My question is: What If you post a article or two every now and then mixed with the duplicate content? Say my "how to stop premature balding" blog fetches from 5 RSS feeds and today, I decide I want to write 1 or 2 good 500 keyword articles.

How would Google look upon me? Do I gain very little or no SERP at all?

it all depends on how you do it,
You will have to find the rss from blogs not really noticed by google with little traffic 1 or less pagerank. little to no pages on google

and you can do that and be able to get a good ranking on your serp.

    Home Page:
you could use a plugin called wpunique and it encodes your post to make big G think its unique. It will also spin content.

It would be hella badass to have an article rewriter that made sense... imagine what you could do with it.
