what i noticed about facebook since his last algorithm update

    All the things i'll mention are based on a facebook page with 26k fans:
    1- The photo reach is dead, completely, i got lucky 2 times & the reach reached 3k with multiple shares.
    2- Since the photo reach is dead, facebook wants us to create original videos, the video reach makes around 4-6k reach organically (withing 6 hours)
    3- When a post go viral and u get more than usual reach, the next couple posts will be punished depending on how successful that post was and they will kill the reach for those next couple posts.
    4- Link reach is around 2-2.5k

    I'm here talking about organic reach, i usually get more than the numbers i mentioned due to people sharing. i Spend lot of time on facebook (cuz i manage my own page, duh) and that's what i noticed.

    However, what I found is that FB raising what I called 'the interesting bar', if your post super interesting post the reach will go turbo boosting, in the old days it needs 3-4 days to reach 100k organic reach, today I would say 1.5 days. That can happen if your post heavily gets likes, comments, and shares. And if the post not interesting, the reach will be super low. Now that's you call it punishment for being not interesting.

    You're doing well, but some others haven't been so lucky.

    I had a friend double traffic, then another lose a lot.

    It's almost like the luck of the draw with this algo.

    Makes you wonder if your content is being listed as clickbait.

    if you are in entertainment niche, and the post is quality it only requires a good share in a group to make the post raise.
    anyway none of what i said is based on science, but still, it happened forme before and happened for me yesterday, if i get a succesful post the next will die organically, unless you push it with some goup shares:

    how long the delay between each posts? maybe that two post competing each other which would shows on timeline?

    You will have a bigger reach if you do not use links or click redirected posts, applies to groups and pages. Also less flags are raised with fb!

    I link my page or group back to my sell site using the shop button website button and having a couple of clickable images pinned. It's a lighter way of driving traffic but it's better then tricking people with miss direction! You do need to capture people's interest but if you're hitting the right groups etc your'll half way there.

    If I had one tip: Treat what you sell as a business not a scam put some real thought into it don't just flood groups with a offers, everyone else does these be different.

    my other post are getting few shares and likes from related groups but doesn't convert well on page like :(

    You should give reasons why the friend lost a lot of traffic and the other gained.
    They must be doing things differently.

    We don't know the actual reason.

    It may be their new clickbait algo. It could be based on differences in what people like/share.

    The content is all fairly similar, so you'd think they would both flip or flop, but they've had different results.

    We haven't been able to figure out the reason. It might be temporary too, who knows. It's just going to be yet another round of optimizing and figuring out what works for the other page, and how to get interactions up. I think the interactions are what place things in higher relevance for them.
