So after a long time of dropping in ever so often, I finally signed up. I've used this community as a crash course to SEO. There's more to it than I though and I already expected it to be like jumping off the high dive into the deep like I was Squints from Sandlot.

I've spent hours and hours going through the forum, searching for what I was looking for and found a lot I wasn't looking for. A lot of times, it seems like I go down two or three rabbit trails and end up nowhere close to what I was looking for. :) But I love it, I'm consumed by learning more.

The biggest thing I've learned so far is to use the search function. If I can give any advice to noobs, it is to take the time to search for what you want before posting a new post. I'm sure most noobs are looking for a quick fix and don't want to take the time to look for what they want. If your first search doesn't return what you want, word it another way, if that doesn't work try again. Then ask for help.

All it takes is time and persistence! Plus, I'm sure it is annoying to senior members to see the same questions asked over and over.

I've learned a lot and I'm still learning. Thanks for this Mecca of knowledge!
