What hot trends do you see for 2008?

Since I got on the myspace gravy train a little late and honestly don't want to get involved with facebook, I was wondering what some of the better earners here think of this question:

What do you think will be hot trends for 2008 to make money on via affiliate sales?

Yeah I'm wondering the same thing. I think its just going to be a combination of social networking sites like youtube, digg, etc.

Well, I'm pretty sure using youtube is done? I'm pretty sure I read that. Anyways, just wait for the next big thing... and you'll know it. It's really not something you can predict.

Just wait for something big to come up, and start marketing to it's users!

I don't think any of the social networking sites are done. People just need to try new things. The best thing for anything is trying to give the pages something relevant whether it be to the viewers or to the person owning a page you might comment on.

Very true. Don't advertise to somebody who isn't interested. Find your niche, add people interested in your niche, and market to them. The way some people market on Myspace is just stupid. Random marketing won't bring in nearly as much money!

I think that local social networking sites are going to start to become huge money earners for those who jump on top of this and really build up their sites. Advertisers are really leaning towards geo targeted ads and a network of local social sites would be prime for getting their business.

google is supposed to be making some new social networking site to compete with the others. im sure when that is ready it will only be a matter of milliseconds before the minions here unleash a wrath of fury on it LOL

I won't give out my ideas on affiliate sales but Celebrities have topped 6 out 10 top searches on Overture for like the last 4 years

I think there is possibly money to be made advertising in widgets people can put on their social networking profiles, rather than simply random commenting.
Just look at the success of last.fm

That being said... I predict 2008 to be one hell of a year for me... as long as I stay consistent.

Also about the market...

I predict after the release of income.com the internet market to start becoming noticeably more crowded including places like this forum here and internet marketing I think will increase noticeably .

Guys this thing was supposed to be launched this past summer and now its almost Christmas... imagine what this site is going to be like.

Also I predict 2008 once the American dollar is back to where it is and after and predict a new presidente of the US.

And I will throw one more prediction in here... I predict the New England patriots to win the Super Bowl, maybe, but gotta love them .
