Hosting and whois (domains) are two different things. You can just use fake whois info or just buy privacy protection or get one free from domain registrars such as namesilo and that should do it.

Your hosting info is private and not shown anywhere, especially not at whois public records.

This makes absolutely no sense. Why would anyone need offshore hosting for adult related website if there is anything illegal involved?

    Hey littlewebdragon ,

......Unless he doesn't have his own adult models or streaming from free source (copyright free) of course . After all is a suggestion, the headache from copyright infringement in the XXX industry is huge :)

Offshore has it's advantages of course, customer does have layer of protection, especially with BTC. I agree on that for sure.

Let us disregard industry here, I'm indeed curious about this. Let us say offshore customer is promoting Nintendo game hack (Pokemon) and hosting ignores DMCA requests (polite way to remove content) by Nintendo. Then Nintendo decides to actually press charges as DMCA is ignored, what can you do? You will remove that content eventually or?

Not all hosting companies support adult hosting because of the legal issues they can cause.

You must be clear on one thing first, DMCA is an USA law and it only applies in the USA. All other countries have laws that are similar to DMCA for copyright but they are not EXACTLY like DMCA. So lawsuits are handled differently in different country's.
