@music4mic thanks

And just WOW the thread is over a year old and it's still got ppl talking about gettin ripped off and shaved and\or smelling fish!

I believe CB is no more noob-heaven? since that's the first reason they got all those affiliates selling their products.

I'm getting frustrated I thought they're the way to go for a noob (me). can someone please confirm or suggest another network to go with?

do not promote the magic of making up, 80 hops direct linking 5 order form impression and no sale.. all the traffic coming from adwords!!

surely a company as big as clickbank cannot risk stealing commissions of so many vendors and affiliates

The same thing has happened to me.

When I made my first sale with Clickbank I got very excited, and started studying everything to do with Clickbank that I possibly could.

My clicks were increasing and it all started going really well.

Then all of a sudden everything just disappeared, hops count 0, hops per order 0, basically everything went to 0.

It could be that Clickbank is winding down, but they are not going to say anything until they can grab as much money from us a possible.

Interesting
trackingsystem1.jpg

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Total field is supposed to be ALWAYS a total disregarding any kind of math equation so those who are in defense of CB bs. care to tell us if a company "THAT BIG" tracking system can't do a simple 12+1 math equation what more their freaking affiliate sales tracking?

This utterly frustrating when I see this even as a noob.

EDIT: Mods please fix my pic ratio I thought it automatically does if the pic is bigger than the width of the window but clearly it doesn't and sorry for this.

@spontaneous - first off i cant believe I'm replying to another CB shafted me thread but your just wrong with that comment about 12+1 - its actually total Hop Count = 126 / total Order Form Impression Count = 11 ie 126/11 = 11.45 odds rounded down to 11. Small point maybe but the tracking stats are accurate - at least numerically speaking! I get this kind of thing all the time - lots of impressions no sales but I just put it down to a poor product/overpriced product/poor pre-sales page etc. many people make a good living from CB - no reason to suspect that they shave any more than other networks in my opinion and I have ALWAYS been paid on time in the past 2 years. My advice - spend less time bleating about the poor state of your stats and work on promoting other products that do convert. Good luck

Right you are sir. they actually did reply to the ticket I submitted too I'm somewhat impressed that they actually replied.

however it's not as easy as they're making it sound to promote their products and actually make a buck but then again every product owner says the same line
Q:How much money can I make?
A: THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!

In my defense as a noob I'm trying my best to find who's the least shaver around so I can begin with since as a noob in this hellhole even A BUCK shaved from my itty bitty traffic is a big scam (generating traffic from 2.0 properties and free webhosts is a nightmare trust me on this one), you know what I mean?

I tend to belong my posts so I'll end with a simple thank you for bothering to even reply. Good luck to you too.

if you're only doing a few hundred hops with no sales, that's not any evidence at all of shaving. You are new and you're just not converting. Now when you drive 5,500+ targeted hops and you're only getting 10 total sales from that, then you have the right to complain.

Anybody else seen any wierd stats recently?

My stats for one of the products from clickbank:

Hop count: 11425
Order Form Impressions: 1,572
Order Form Submit: 52
Sales Count: 14

52 order form submits vs. 14 sales count? Is this normal for you guys?

I am beginning to wonder about clickbank again... :(

clickbank is terrible and is shaving like crazy lately. I noticed a huge decrease in sales so I'm done with them. switching out the links to other offers.

Yeah, you know it doesn't seem quite like coincidence any more.

Also experiencing this, again.

And aren't their little tid bits on current system status just great, always says that it didn't affect sales. At least they try to play it off some, by admiting that their credit card processing was messed up there for a few.

I gave up on clickbank along time ago. These guys are shaving sales and have the worst customer service. I wonder if they treat the actual publishers any better? I have an ebook I am working on and am trying to decide if I should use ClickBank or PayDotCom.

Listen if nobody including me got a depressing zero sales every day in our stats no use joining CB or other really best way to market your self or Ebay These cheating assholes and pussies need a machine gun Think how much time of your life you spend promoting for these people and if there are any disinformation people here posting fuck off

Hi all

I never had a problem with Clickbank until now. They recently had a lot of delays in their reporting and I questioned them about when they will get it fixed and if sales were affected. Their answer to the same question about a month ago was that sales are not affected and it is just the analytics that need to catch up.

This time however, they responded that sales and hops are being updated after about a 2 hour delay. They also said that this could be updated as late as 24 hours after sale or hop although those instances are rare. !!! That was definitely something that I did not want to hear as it brings some amount of suspicion to the picture.

I am going to give it a few more days to see what happens. I was converting at about 4-5% on my hops and lately it has been 0%. I wrote it off for the 4th of July weekend but am now quite concerned.

They also messed up by missing a pay period. I send them emails about it and they keep referring to the older pay period saying that it has been paid. It is quite frustrating and I hope it was just an error on their part.
