It hasn't happened yet, but I created a Squidoo page that I can use as a web 2.0 with my money site link on it. I did a few scrapebox blasts and profile linking to my squidoo page and now all of a sudden it's ranked like 4-5 positions below my actual website.

If it starts to rank above my site what should I do?

Web 2.0s tend to rank on their own at first, then money sites gradually rise above them.

Its your site. Might not convert better, but you have another spot on the top ten so don't worry.

I don't think it should be something you worry about, instead just get the web 2.0 property to somehow direct to your money site and you took two spots off Google first page.

the squidoo page belongs to your money site ,there is no problem in getting rankings the way you talked because both links point to your actual site only.

Ultimately it shouldn't be a problem. If its really bugging you, try removing the property and building other quality links to the money site so it can go over the Squidoo again.

But most of the times, its a good thing as you hold 2 positions on the page. And occasionally, the Web 2.0 will gradually decrease in the SERPs anyway.

You can avoid this by making sure that the anchor text in the backlinks to your web 2.0 sites are NOT the same keywords that your money site is targeting.

Then on your web 2.0 sites make sure they have the anchor text you're targeting linking to your money site.

This is only if you want to benefit from the link juice of web 2.0s. If you actually want to rank a web 2.0 for the same terms as your money site in order to saturate the results page you can just ensure you place a higher ratio of quality links to the money site.

You try to get a 2nd 2.0 ranked in the top ten maybe? Start worrying about it after you have 1-10 all controlled by you :)
