What happens to the proxy if the account gets banned?

So my question is related to all social networks - for example I plan on buying some VPS with IP's and create proxies out of them - then assign the proxies to social media accounts - like 2 for IG,5 for twitter...and the run some scripts to manage the accounts.

Now if one of my accounts gets banned what happens to that proxy? Can I use it for another account - or that proxy is marked for life by those networks? So is this approach a bad practice and I should just rent new proxies like others do, or I could reuse the same ones without any risks?

    Thank you

I just use the same proxies all the time. Even when accounts get blocked in FB I still use the same IP's on other accounts.

In most cases you should get new proxies. The proxies do get flagged and blacklisted. But in most cases if you create another account with the same proxy, everything would be good until you start promoting offers, and doing suspicious things that a normal person wouldn't do (use a bot with footprints, follow or add tons of people after creating the account, etc)
