What happens if I monetize a video, make money on it, and it gets taken down months later?

I was just wondering, If I monetize a video and months and months later after being payed consistently it gets taken down, what happens to all the payments I was sent?

Is it just youtubes lost for not knowing or taking that long to figure out and decide it should be deleted?

Just wondering, I am sure a vet could answer this quick

I earned & kept money from videos that have (eventually) been copyrighted. I've also lost channels thro copyright strikes & adsense still paid me after the event, so you should be fine.

    Nothing happens.
Google isn't allowed to withdraw money from your bank account, only deposit.

Copyright violations aren't 100% illegal. It's a gray area. Worst case scenario is you get banned from Youtube or Adsense and are forever unable to make money through them.
