What happened with all these PBNs sold here after the last update?

I think most, if not all these PBNs here are built on expired domains and took the hit one way or another.

Not going to spread any FUD but you should think twice now before buying any PBN links. There probably were only a handful of good networks here to begin with so I am wondering if anyone think their site got negatively affected because of those links?

It depends, some PBNs are pretty healthy now.
