Twitter search results are heavily filtered; they usually won't appear in he search unless they have a high-interaction rate (ie: retweets/favourites), or they are unique to the search phrase (ie: searching the tweet verbatim).

You might be too generic for your targeted search in which the twitter algorithms won't showcase your tweet for that term (always check in an new broswer/ incognito window to see non-biased results because twitter will generaly show your tweets to you if you are logged-in).

All the tweets show up in the search results. "Top" is the default. If people want to see their tweets, then they have to click "All." Also, the default "top" has nothing to do with the interaction rate. My tweets are found in the "top" default many times without the tweets being retweeted or favorited. It's part of Twitter's algorithm. Active users who interact with others get their tweets in "top" more than active users who post nothing but quotes and links and never reply back to anyone. I was told that this was part of their algorithm when I asked a lot of questions about taking out an ad. Lastly, even generic words will be found by clicking on the "all' link. You can search using one word and it will be found there.

I wouldn't say it sucks if used correctly, but I do think it has lost it's punch.

May be your tweets will not have much interaction or likes that why they dint show. Twitter has no good for business now like it used to be in the start.

It seems it's important to have a good grade to show up in search results !
