Data on SEMrush appears remarkably striking. Could this be the result of fake traffic, or is there something else at play? If it's artificially influenced, what's the purpose, and how is it achieved? Does it simply involve repeatedly searching for these keywords on Google?

it could be due to various factors like some viral contents, marketing campaigns, user intent etc...,

It is definitely artificially influenced. They have spammed SEMrush and Ahrefs traffic (Ahrefs is also this website's traffic in millions and high search volume of the keyword). But As I check in other competitive analysis tool like ubersuggest, the website traffic is in thousands only. Also the website DA is 13 only.

They are tricking SEMrush and ahrefs, and for that they are not generating traffic, instead they are manipulating them to show increased search volume for the keywords the website is already ranking on,. SEMrush and ahrefs calculate estimated traffic with search volume of keywords the website is ranking on , current ranking and average CTR on current ranking. For the given keywords, as domain is included so current ranking is expected to be on first position and CTR is also highest, they are now sending keyword search requests on SEMrush ahrefs so it is show high search volume on those keywords and so calculation their traffic is also showing in millions in ahrefs and semrush. This search volume is false and so while doing keyword research, I would recommend not just rely on one particular tool whether it is SEMrush or ahrefs or any other popular tools because some data is spammed in these tools too. The more tools and data you include, will give you better insights and you can avoid this kind of anomalies.

well is a brand of modicare.
could be because of that.

It doesn't look like that it is artificially achieved. it could be due to local events, seasonal trends or as mentioned above could be of their brand value, user intent or campaign etc...,.

This can sometimes happen when a keyword becomes a hot topic or a subject of a trending event. But in cases where there isn’t an obvious trend or event, it could be artificial. Yes, repeated searches can inflate volumes temporarily, and bots are often the culprits behind such spikes - this can be an attempt to manipulate keyword significance or test some blackhat SEO tactics.
