6 months back, I was used to seeing a shitload of journals on BHW.
People made journals about owning CL, writing articles, CB, etc.
They were quite good to learn from, seeing the progress people made, the problems, etc

    WHERE ARE YOU JOURNALS?

Some were good, most were bad. Although I agree that a Journals subforum would be nice to keep them in one area (with the good ones stickied).

I found the Journals the most useful part of BHW.

because people always say: "ohh I have a 20% LP conversion rate", "5% is the average"....and so on
but on Journals you saw the fact that 1% conversion rate is the average not fantasy conversions :)
Also people say that an article has a CTR of 20%, but in journals the data showed below 5%

I liked journals because you would see the HUSTLE behind IM. And they presented RAW FACTS. It's like the difference between having theoretical sex and the real thing.

    Here's my theory:

25% didn't make it and gave up the journal
25% made a little money and gave up the journal to put more time into making money
25% made an assload of money and gave up the journal because fuckin-a, I'm rich!!
25% are full of shit and not worth reading anyway

They usually waste noobs time, noob cheering noob and forgetting about their own work, but i'm sure few make it. You wonder why not just open a notepad and write your journal there, then when you're stuck post a thread asking the questions.

those are just the kind of numbers i HATE.
% that come from theory. Not data driven.
no offense to you man, you might be a great person and successful at what you do..... but in business "DATA driven decissions make cash" not presumptions and estimates.
where did 25%-25%-25%-25% came from? do you keep track of all the journals?

    @Sanitarium
"noob cheering noob and forgetting about their own work" that is so true

Well statistics say 95% of all online marketeers fail, so chances are most or all of those journal writers failed.

Why yes, indeed, I am a professional actuary and certified public accountant hired by BHW to keep track of percentages and I assure you, sir or ma'am, that there is no margin of error whatsoever...

    It's called sarcasm mr. Businessman.

    I'm curious of 1 thing.
    95% online marketers fail(FACT)
If <95% online marketers with journals fail then making a journal is a plus. :)

How can we find out what that % is?

This is exactly why I'd never start a blog/journal on this here. Most of them I dont/didnt read because of the reasons mentioned in this thread. If I ever made one when I first started, and came across something new and exclusive to my mental thought process, I'd stop too. Until I was ready to share and onto something better.

Yeah but that doesnt count because he was making decent money to start out with..

Anyway, journals are made of fail, just like internet marketing in general. The people who made them probably have regular jobs now and gave up their dreams. Thats fine, because their failure makes it easier for everybody else. Lack of competition make the easy 500/day methods possible(I am talking about the methods that work, not the ones that are shared). Plus journals are only good to read if people update them which people dont do in the long term, I dont care if the update is you lost money, better than leaving it open ended.. oh well, beatin a dead horse I guess..

Hey man. My journal is at 2015millionaire.com. I usually do not update the thread and I update my journal when big things happen. I will be updating it tomorrow so definitely look out for that. Feel free to read all the old posts for now and comment and tell me what you think. For now I am working on ads3nse and going to be trying CPA/article submissions in the near future. New followers are very welcomed unless they go there to tell me useless garbage I have heard a million times like "give up". Well the fact of the matter is that I am no where near giving up even though I have made close to nothing and began my adventure last October. Anyway drop by and leave some constructive criticism.

    Thanks,
    xxf8xx
