What gets you banned

You all say black hat sites eventually get banned.

I'm interested if there is a way to not get banned.

Let's say I would only do link spamming. This shouldn't get me banned because otherwise everyone would link spam their competitors.

Also cloaking. How does google find out that your are doing it?

couple of answers for you

If you linkspam like a lunatic - i.e a few thousand links every day, then google will notice and will investigate, whether they ban you are not is a bit like 50-50 - ya just never know, i have had sites banned for 100 links a day, and others i add 10,000 links in one day and its still there 6 months later lol - trial and error, test it out with throw away sites and domains


Cloaking is fine to do as long as you do it correctly, dont cloak direct to the affiliate pages u are promoting, direct to an intermediate page than then forwards them on, that way if the page gets banned by google, you can always create a new redirect page, lot easier than having to move ya site

What gets my domains banned? Well:

1. Crappy content.
2. Crappy domain names.
3. Crappy looking doorway pages and MFAs.
4. Redirections and cloacking.
5. Bad neighberhood linking.

Yep! But you still do all those right? Just try to do enough to stay a couple of days ahead of the bans, right?

Or are you saying you don't use these techniques???

Till now all about spaming was a volume. Now it's more about quality. And yes, I'm trying to improve the things I have mentioned.

In my opinion, a crappy name itself may not cause the ban, but which domain name would you suspect of being a blackhat spam site:

or
ebaysilverwatches.com ?
A crappy domain name is just asking for a manual review.

Overdoing it, be it content, links, number of pages etc.
