What Does Youtube Do About This ?

I have one video that i re uploaded to YouTube and it got 1 million views, however after the 8th day it got claimed.
so i am wondering do i get paid for the previous 7 days that it generated that many views on my channel or does that views also go to the claimant ? do i get a share if i don't delete it after they claimed ?

if i delete will the claimant still get the 1 million views i generated for them prior to them claiming it?

most probably you will get some amount and the rest will be taken by YouTube.
