As per Ubersuggest they only have 177 referring domain backlinks, but I notice that they are ranking very high competitive keywords. You do mean they are using indexing service for their existing backlinks? If I make any mistake in asking pardon me.

Sometimes you just can't tell but odds are hidden PBNs or some other shady method I would guess

We can give them a call and ask? Well I was checking the site history and it seems like it was a business, the Facebook posts are older than 2020 I think.
Maybe it's an expired domain with authority of an established business that got turned into a junkie blog
