Hi All,

Sorry for the complete newb question - but what does pixel fire mean in copeac, and how do you use it?

Thanks

yea, I would like to know, too. Anyone?

I think it's just a kind of tracking pixel to track if someone has been on a specific page. this is what I think dunno for sure.

it's a snazzy name for an on a conversion page so you can track them,

thanks guys...

betster77 - how exactly can I use to determine if I get a conversion?

You have to get them to put it on the merchants conversion page. So that after the traffic you send completes the offer, it will fire.

It's mainly used for keyword tracking, as you can see what keyword was passed to fire the pixel. Personally, I use sub-ids, I just cannot be bothered to contact cpa networks and hound them to get my pixel placed.

If you don't really know what it is or what it is for, you won't get any benefit of using it...

bert6911 - ah! subid'd thats great - Im doing ppc, and I just want to pass the keyword in the subid, so that if I get a conversion I know what the keyword is - is this what you do? Does it work?

thanks so much for all the help guys

In a way this is what I do. I pass the keyword as a number, and then I can match the corresponding keyword to that number. If you pass the keyword, its only a matter of time before they "faze you out" of the equation...

I use STATSJUNKY, it does all this for me. I think there is a cracked version here, but I got the paid version when they first launched at a great deal. It's a GREAT program that is well worth the money!

thanks bert, appreciate it - I'll check that software out when I get home from work.

As a side note, what kind of conversion rates are you getting on your landing pages? My setup is adwords ad to my own landing page to the CPA offer (completely White hat I guess).

I'm getting about 25% conversion on my own landing page (so of all the traffic that get on my landing page via adwords, about 25% click the button which takes them onto the CPA offer page) - in your experience would you say this is low/average?

Sorry one more question - what kind of design do u have for your landing pages? Are they just a single page with a couple of links for contact us and about us or are they more like sites. Does your landing pages look like the CPA offer page? Is it a large page (lots of sales copy) or just a few bullet points with a massive click here box.

Thanks for helping me out guys
