Hello, in this site main sections which used to rank in first page are nowhere now, this happened in February 18 2019.

By sections i mean:
/main-kw1/
/main-kw2/
/main-kw3/
Now a random post under /main-kw2/post-1/ will rank 30-50 ..... but the main section /main-kw2/ is nowhere, it is indexed it just doesn't rank for anything, except if i append "sitename" to main kw.

I never done any link building. What could it be? I improved the page with everything i can think of to no effect. Running out of ideas.

Actually, you're doing well getting 24K clicks with no backlinks and at the same time, it is your answer ... just build backlinks to your main KW page and you will be good to go.

Build quality and relevant backlinks to your keyword page. And also try internal linking. These quality backlinks will boost your website ranking.

Build more quality and niche related backlinks for your keywords.
It will helps to improve your ranking.

you need more kewords then many backlinks relating to your niche .

example

many websites got 15k in keywords and then backlinks.

of course each kw should have a article.

if u wanna go fast use rankerx

gd luck

you don't need my luck already getting over 20k a day traffic.

whatever your doing do it with more keywords well done .(( repeat )))

@noHATguy, How are your social media efforts? Do you get some good traffic from social media?

What my point is... those websites which first get some good engagement in social media generally don't show such instant downfall (until it is caught in any manipulative activity during some algo update). And if your niche is less competitive then you can get such organic traffic without links or social media.

Check if you are doing social media marketing as well (besides link building). Also, check if you need a mobile-friendly version of your website (AMP framework)

Rest, people have already recommended... go for a wide range of similar keywords, link building (from high-quality websites; guest posts etc), and have some favor from influencers of your industry.

Sup stats. Now build some real links to your homepage and you should be able to scale those clicks.

you need some quality backlinks and also share your links on social media if you are not

Are those pages are dynamic pages like categories/ tag pages?

Although you haven't done any link building someone else might have done it for you, check your GSC to see if there are any spammy links pointed at your website if you see anything that looks suspicious disavow it.

As for on-site seo, check your keyword density, if it's high lower it and watch what happens, if it's low, bump it up. Track your keywords with another tool than GSC.
