I have been thinking lately, what does Bing like to see In a site? The algo Is obviously different than I'm used to, and I'm having sites ranked #1-#3 on 40k a month search terms with little to no work.

I'm not complaining, but I'm curious as to why I'm getting these good rankings for search terms on Bing. Also note that the sites ranking are spam sites. Well structured spam, but spam nonetheless. Been at #1 for a 30k a month search term for over 2 months now. I'm going to be setting up some test sites and run different strategy's on each to see what out performs what soon, but I'm Interested In anything anyone can tell me who has more experience In the Bing department, would love to hear your thoughts.

    -Thanks

I really really don't know, trying to understand that too.

I think they look a lot at onpage and EMD.. that can explain how sites without any backlinks ranking top 5 for many kws.

Oh, by little to no work I mean these are spam sites. I don't mean I did no backlinking, It's just not hard to setup some churn and burn.

Seems like you know what your doing...I hope you can answer some of these:
What kind of spam did you use for current rankings?
    Direct links?
    Tier linking?
    Anchor %?
    Domain Age?
How long did it take to get these rankings?

what I meant that some of my sites gain results pretty quick without any backlinks and only a few posts (those are mainly stand-by sites that have 2-3 posts and waiting for some experiment or some actual work on them) based on onpage and emd only.

But yeah i'm sure there are some points to look for when ranking Bing, I just can't put my hands on any patterns..

I also seen some websites with very little backlinks and young domain age rank top in Bing.

Then for other keywords its total opposite were website is aged with many backlinks.

I cant put my finger on it.

From what I understand Google is the industry standard and if you make your sites ready to rank on
Google then you can rank on Bing/Yahoo as well.
