What do you think of this idea?

Lets say you find a video on Youtube that is a sub niche of a very popular niche. Lets say this genre is Twilight and you find a quality video that Twilight fans would actually want to see and its a fairly long video. You make a Wordpress site with 1 video and XX articles about Twilight (very popular niche). You can easily do it yourself or outsource the whole job for around $50.

So now you have a site with your 1 video and some articles (the more the better). Outsource the SEO work to someone else and for $150 you can get a lot of stuff (Xrummer, link wheels, Angela's links, social bookmarks, Youtube comments, forum posts, etc). For $200 you have a full site where everything was done by someone else, you only picked the niche and the video.

To monetize the site you would initially wait while your site gets indexed and you start getting some traffic. When you start getting traffic to your site you can add a content gateway on your video page. If its a long video you can add it a few times. You only have 1 shot with your visitor, once he / she sees your video he / she doesnt need a reason to come back to your site ever again. Maximize the amount you can get per surfer, you can get $2-3+ for each video viewer (who watches the whole video).

Lets say only 100 organic visitors come to you per day after you do a successful SEO outsourced campaign ($150 spent earlier). Lets say out of 100 visitors only 10 people (underestimated number) you can earn $20-$30 per day or $400-$600 (based on underestimated numbers). You can obviously make a lot more since all t he people are interested in watching your video and a lot of them would at least go thru the first content gateway.

I've read that Google doesnt like content gateways but in this case its only 1 page (1 video). You will have XX articles supplementing you in Google and have a healthy amount of backlinks after your SEO work. I am not an expert on cloaking and if its even necessary but thats a possibility for 1 video page.

Pros:

- Pick niche, video, outsource all work for $200 (no work for you)
- Underestimated potential to make $400-$600/month
- Main niche (Twilight) will be hot for a long time, has enough fans
- You are targeting main niche (Twilight) + your keyword(s), should be low competition for the combination and you could rank on page 1

Cons:

- Google doesnt like content gateways
- $200 to start

If you do anything i would spend 50$ on building a blog about a niche that has popular content, with high paying keywords for google. People like problogger say not to do this but they are morons who are fake it till they make it type of people.

Highest paying keywords are the most important.

Also cpa gateways are not paying like they use to. Just look the mess going on over at CPA lead. I think content gateways are harder to make money with and are not somthing i see being huge in the future.

I already mentioned that the niche would be a popular subject (ie. Twilight). For the video that I have in mind the main niche gets over 4 million local searches per month and the sub niche gets 75k local searches without any competition.

You dont have to use CPA Lead for gateway, you can use either a free or paid gateway and run offers from different networks.
