I've found a premium domain (in spanish). With these things:

    • PR 2
    • 57 Backlinks (in yahoo)
    • 127 indexed pages
    • Age: March 2008

Is hosted in some kind of parking site. The thing is that all backlinks came from other parked sites (I guess same ip), and all indexed pages are from the parking plataform. Is like every domain parked there is an alias of the main domain (the parking plataform).

What do you think? I think some of the links will remain, and some will disappear if I bought the domain. But the age will remain, and is a really competitive niche (rentals for vacations, but in spanish).

The price they are asking is $550

    Thanks for your advice

How will the domain age remain? As soon as it is parked the search engines turn its value back to cero, you'll have to start all over again.

I don't want to park it, I will develop it. It's parked now, but in a way that still shows up in google, have PR and have backlinks ;)

I now is something strange, but it is what it is.

this is an example (not the domain i want, but there is in the same "parking" plataform: http://guiaviajera.com/

I am spanish and I got a lot of experience selling travelling for 3 years before economic crisis. But actually online spanish market is getting down and down. I think would be better if you find a new domain (dot es work fine aswell) because that site has been off for a time, and start all over again, as nufaman said. That is my fifty cents. Good Luck!

thanks @veroc. One thing to note is that I'm not after spain market, I'm after argentina market. I live in a very turistic city, and I know that there is a lot of money to be made in this market, specially because internet is not fully used by hotel or house owners, so a lot of space to grow.

In respect of the TLD, in argentina .com work very well, almost equal to .com.ar.

Talking about the domain, I think that just the name worth $550, and all the backlinks and PR were just a plus. But I will need more than $550 to make that business work. I will have to think it better.

    Thanks anyway to all
