Me: SQL
Why? I use it to so often, everyday, I dream about this shit.
Everything needs a database right :) ?
I need to go outside more
anyways, what do you think?
Python undoubtedly tops the list. It is commonly thought of as the best programming language to learn first because it is very approachable. It is a fast, easy-to-use, and easy-to-deploy programming language that is widely used to develop scalable web applications.

Python is one of the most popular and widely used languages in the world, because in fact it leads all rankings along with javascript

I love SQL syntax. Simple and clean.

Can you earn with just SQL or do you need additional skills?

COBOL 60 is the best programming language (COmmon Business Oriented Language).

You should program in COBOL if you are also business oriented person.

You would need additional skills imo to excel
generally speaking, you wouldn't just learn SQL on it's own.
A few examples would be if you are using lots of database type stuff, you would most likely know some level of DAX, M or VB.
While some Oracle SQL Developers may requires the some form of Java knowledge too

First of all SQL is not a programming language. It is a "query" language used to extract information from a database.

Second I don't really view programming languages as something you can really have a favorite since you change which one you use depending on your use case. But if you ask which one I enjoy using the most when I use it, I would have to go with Java.

I have written production code in pretty much all parts of the stack, front-end, backend, desktop, and native mobile (android + iOS), which includes the languages of: C, Objective-C, Java, Javascript, C#, Python, Ruby

I used Ruby, Python for mostly scripting purposes, however. I also use BASH very frequently nowadays and I enjoy it more than ruby and python.

I

My vote was css, until I discovered it is not "technically a programming language" so my new vote is, "FU I pick whatever Raspberry Pi uses.." .. looks it up... "The Raspberry Pi OS is built on Linux which mostly uses the Python language to perform different activities." Oh g***********t I am a *****ing snake too.
It is a query language. Not a programming language. CSS is also not a programming language. It is used to style HTML documents in a declarative format, but that is it.

I'd say it's javascript, it's the most versatile language, of course it doesn't excel in all areas, but just the fact that you should learn it once and use it to build anything is sick

As already said, each language has its pros and cons and serves a different purpose.
Python can be my choice for today's job, tomorrow it can be Node JS / Javascript.

Theyre not?

I could make an entire website with them alone. A nice website too. Not super fancy, but really nice.

So if theyre not programming languages, what are they?
Script languages.

Do you consider XML as a programming language?

Me: JavaScript

Why? Can be used on Frontend and Backend.

React.JS, jQuery, Angular, NodeJS.

Name me one programming language that can be used on server and client side.

My 2 cents :)
