If someone create product review sites, and does not own any sort of movie or game sites etc... Only product review sites, like diet pill reviews etc and make backlinks to it do you think he should be in danger because of SOPA/PIPA ?

No because reviews are legal under the fair use law,and SOPA had nothing in it about fair use. In fact if your website was wrongly shut down you can sue for damages, which SOPA mentions.

I'm assuming this relates only to software and movie files in general, media stuff such as articles would be next. SOPA is a massive FAIL in my book, the feds can do as they please anyway without the need for False-Flag Policy garbage to shut down sites.

The DOJ/DHS just can't shut down whatever they please they have to go to court to get a court order to shut something down. And the Judge will look to see if it would be valid under the current law. And guess what since its done though the court system it can be appealed.

I have been watching the backdoor tactics of the feds - they use much heavier tactics than just a court order to whack a site. Yes a court order in principle, but they can and will block a site if they can via many many means available to them.

Please show me some examples of sites the FBI just shut down without asking a judge to order it shut down.

Reviews good or bad are fair use. The corporation cannot bring you down for reviewing its product, even though it might not be a favorable review.

These rights are actually protected by the US.

And if you are taken down for some BS complaint....SOPA outlines harsh penalties and punishment for the fraudulent filing.

The Feds have no tolerance for people abusing laws like SOPA.

I don't think so. But who know. We are not the authority, I am sure they will come with some way.
