I would personally prefer to save up for something better. ePad although a nice gadget for the budget pocket, I think I'd probably get frustrated with it...

I don't have one so I can't say for sure but if the ePad is like some of the other budget tablets then it will be slow and it will lag.

Take a look at the new Google Nexus 7:

Check out the review videos so you see live how it works, so you don't end up with something you don't want.

I bought an epad around 3 years ago and it was horrible. The resistive screen was awful to the point of unusable sometimes. I'm not sure whether things have changed since then but I would not recommend one.

    Acer Iconia A100 tablet.
You won't find better tablet for less than 150 $ than this.
    Code:

Acer Iconias are best tablets in my opinion, i had Acer Iconia A500 and it was great, this one is awesome also, he got tegra 2 dual core cpu.
    And it costs only 140$

That Ainol Novo 7 looks pretty good to be fair. Gets decent reviews for the cost.

I have an Advent Vega (UK name) which is a cheap P10AN01 tablet. I bought this one because my budget was tight but also because it has a great following as being a tablet you can do anything you want with and is pretty much unbrickable. Some guys have it running linux. I think it was one of the first cheaper tablets to run honeycomb and ICS and it handles them all perfectly. It does have a few 'black spots' on the screen, especially at the top and bottom, but otherwise it's a decent bit of kit and only cost me £130. The Modaco and tabletroms forums are a good place for reviews.
