I know this will get some backlash because I'm not building a list just yet. But what are the pros and cons of buying a solo ad then directly linking to a paid offer without collecting an email? Obviously the biggest con is not getting an email so please don't list it. Right now I'm just starting out with little money and I'm trying to make a good chunk before I start building my list so I am going to direct link at first but I was curious to see what you guys think about it.

I don't know but I'd like to know the answer to this as well. Have you tried it yet?

No but I should have enough money soon and I will let you know how it goes and I will let you know who I bought the ad from as well. If it is really successful I will post a thread trying to help some people out.

    Let say
You buy 100 clicks and redirect to paid offer : No one buy (You lost)
You buy 100 clicks and redirect to free offer/squeeze page : No one buy and you may follow up them later

    Which one you choose?

It's hard to make sale on 100 clicks.. Why not you redirect them to free offer/squeeze page then you can have your paid offer after that..

So you will get new subscribers and they will see your paid offer as well..

One con could easily be the link getting blocked if it's been getting spammed by people selling solo ads. When you send to your own optin page it's easier to monitor it on blacklists.

I never said I was buying 100 clicks I will buy more than that because I know it is risky with just 100

I would send the clicks to a squeeze page. Who knows, you can at least make back your solo ad spend from what you make with your paid offer? And then don't forget you already have people on your email database that you can build a relationship with and promote more paid offers in the future.

Its risky with any number of clicks. Not to mention that not many (if any at all) solo ad sellers allow their traffic to get direct linked to a paid offer.

Also, what are you tracking your clicks with?

I think it's best for a free offer and upsell them later.

Just put an offer in the "Thank You" page or an exit pop-up if they don't subscribe.

Direct linking works great when the sales page you are linking to is professional looking and the offer is legit.
