I have read and heard that I should be posting to my blog everyday. It is time consuming with everything else I am doing. What do you recommend I write as posts? Is there any kind of automated system out there, or should I just continue posting my own content everyday.

    Hi biginch.

There isn't really best thing to write on. It all basically depends on what you like or what your blog focusing on. For example if your blog is about computers than write about computers. Computer news, software release and... you get the picture.

And yes, there are softwares that can help you automatically post something onto your blog. But there is a catch to it. Because it is automated your post may seem a little bit unreadable. This is because the software will normally take a rss feed and re-write it causing some minor grammatical areas here and there.

In my opinion I think that if you are running an adsense blog or an affiliate blog it would be better to post your own content everyday. This is because your blog will get more and more fans returning to your blog everyday. Which means more traffic. And because you get more traffic you get more income.

However, you can pre-write some of your content and use a software to post 1 post to your blog everyday. And I think that would work.

One of the many bullshitting lies that so many " a class" bloggers blabber about.
Posting everyday will not make you money. Focus on income generating activities.

I'll second that. Focus on the quality and impact of you posts, not the quantity.

You can always use RSS feed with something like
    WP-O-Matic
    or
    FeedWorDpress
    or even
    RSS2BLOG

Don't listen to the A-list bloggers, they tell you the same crap and they make money off of you. Write quality posts 1 or twice a week, that's ok. There are many blogs out there with huge readerbase that aren't updated daily.

Yup, a lot of these guys just like to call themselves a paid blogger, but in reality they are making like $7.23 a month from adsense and have never been payed out.

An easy way to create content for your blog is to do reviews of things and pull quotes from articles and pics of products. Use the formula of sites like BoingBoing Dot Net. All they do is write a couple of sentences and fill the rest with a pic or 2 and some quotes and then a link to the original article they are talking about.
