Apparently we have the best reputation in the world: http://www.ibtimes.com/why-canada-has-best-reputation-world-1343189
We also have hot chicks, colorful money, a beautiful landscape, embarrassing celebrities (JB comes to mind), and the best damn hockey players in the world
The people are nice, sometimes even trespassing the "personal boundaries"
Politics are s#%!, there's only two sides and both suck equally
The economy was OK (at most) 'til a year ago when the president died, and everything went downhill. Basics products like milk, sugar, flour and even soap, shampoo and razors are super hard to obtain, since most markets are half empty and the ones that have those products have f#"%ing long lines of people waiting since the last day or something.
Technology, Startups, Finance, Roads, Public Services, and some more. But we also have a fair share of bad things about the country, but so does every other nation.
totally corrupt Politicians......
Ahh Canada! I always wanted to go there.
I've been on the exotic countries in my teenage years, but I've always wanted to go to countries like USA, Canda, Germany, Netherlands and Ice Land (actually going to Ice Land later this year!!!!).
I haven't red alot about Canada but this made me interested!
Landscapes... God I couldn't be more excited! Too bad it's mostly forest here in the south/middle Sweden. Going to the north sometimes and explore!
Meh, don't complain! Although JB is not my taste he still made a great career of his music, but I'm not sure if you should be proud though hehe...
And btw, Sweden has better hockey players
Glad to hear that the people are nice atleast !
I feel like many countries got problem with the politics, which causes lot's of problems in general (duh).
Tradical, really. Urgh, seems like a rough time for your country, thank you for letting me learn, buddy!
America! Love to hear that, and ofcourse we can all notice. You're moving forward fast and it's great for the world.
I wish that I read more about the politics in USA as they seem really interesting, especially when Obama started to take care of the deal.
As you said, all countries have it! Thanks
India. Pretty sad that you have to say that, would you mind motivate it? As I wrote before, Im not very into the politics, but who dies of learning?
If i say strike?
Come on over buddy
Also, see you at the 2018 winter Olympics
Modern democracy. Full of opportunities. Great women. Great music. Good(ish) TV. Rich history. Poor public transport. No decent beer. Cost of living increasing (especially housing). Youth becoming corrupt in certain areas. "Benefits" culture running rampant. Absolute terrible weather most of the time.
Australia wins my heart....
Agreed! Though luckily you can get Fosters or Stella or pretty much anything from most bars these days.
And mine is... Finland. So F you OP
Loving the lakes. The land of a thousand lakes is thankfully not a joke, and I can just lay down in the sand at our summer house, enjoying the sun and the water.
Politics is fine now since they got that jackass Soini under control, and I think Stubb is doing a fine job as our new PM, though he did way better as the foreign minister, just saying
Women here are okay, some beautiful, some horrible and everything in between. Still, I prefer Swedish women They do have a lot worse temper at times though... And mange to be more of the bimbo sort of type compared to the Finnish women.
So just how I like them, stupidly easy. And stupid. Jk, Swedish women are great! (Yes, I have lived in Sweden for like four years, how did you guess?)
The Finnish TV is still the same old boring mostly, but the films they are starting to put out here are already on their way to being half decent which is nice.
So what I love the most about Finland is definitely not the bloody taxes, but the weather, I love downhill skiing as well so snow is good. What is also nice is the equality here. Sure, there are rich people and poor people, but our social services are doing a decent job at keeping everyone alive and happy. Free health services is also great.
Oh and it's sort of normal here for those who don't become plumbers or something to study until they are like 23-25, depending on how long you are going to stay in the army etc.
I've lived in Finland, Sweden and the UK, and I still prefer Finland, but that's mostly because it's my 'home'. Though I currently study in the UK and spend half the summers at my uncle's in Stockholm so
I just want to say "I Love My Motherland"

Who said cheese & wine ? Indeed ! I also love landscape diversities and uniqueness in France.
Politics : that's all about Europe. We're selling our ass to US since De Gaulle.
Economy : 0% economy growth for 6 months now
Music : Lot of nice underground band for all genres.
@HoNeYBiRD : I really loved travelling Hungary, very nice landscapes, places and people. Czech Republic is also a very nice country, waiting for someone to testify.
I like the way my country people getting into corruption, they knew, but never acknowledging
Nothing to Love beside my Girl and Family.
Corrupt Politicians, Sucking Internet Connection
I am also Swedish, though these are my opinions.
ALMOST free healthcare.
Freaking high taxes.
Illegal to purchase houses and rent them for PROFIT.
Our "law" system sucks.
and i really loved travelling France , i was there a couple of times, Paris, the castles of the Loire valley, Southern France/Provence, all really are beautiful places
i can really imagine myself living in Nice for instance or in a smaller city close to Monte Carlo
my sister decided to move to France a few years ago and it seems she's staying maybe for good, so i guess, i'll continue visiting France pretty frequently
Czech Republic is also nice, i was there only once, in Prague, it was love at first sight
Sorry I can't post links...
Good weather in most places.
Huge variety in landscapes/scenery. In one country we have stunning beaches, rainforests, dessert/outback, snow mountains, cities, beautiful countrysides.
Excellent rates of pay for even the most basic jobs (more than $20hr for working in a supermarket or bar). Factory workers can receive up to $25-$30hr.
Nice people mostly.
Good (free) healthcare.
Good looking girls.
Long distance to fly to any other country - expensive.
Long distance to drive to other capital cities. From Adelaide to Perth will take about 29 hours. Melbourne to Brisbane 19 hours.
Really bad media - similar to Fox news.
Can be extremely hot in summer in some places - one of the capital cities, Adelaide, had something like 10 days in a row over 45 degrees Celsius (114F) last summer.
Lots of people on benefits who don't need to be.
Ridiculous priced housing - mainly close to Sydney and Melbourne.
I'm sure there's more pros and cons, maybe some other Aussies can give some more.
Separate names with a comma.
