Hey guys I was sat in bed last night, couldn't sleep as usual thinking about the potential prospects of the next day and just got to thinking about what I really love about this whole thing (other than hopefully making some money sometime! ). I love finding one great piece of software after the next, seeing those awful sales pages, and buying software that shows on the site as having such a beautiful box and all these CD's and booklets and yet is delivered to you as, more often than not, a slightly worn looking piece of software But what I love most about that is that that piece of software, despite the fact that it may look small and meaningless and slightly dogeared, can offer you so much and can be just so powerful. And there's so much great stuff out there to discover every day. I just wish I had more money to buy it all So I love the discovery of this world and some of the great and supportive people on here who offer their advice, their visions, their secrets even, and things they have found along the way. That the people are kind enough to crack something that I can try before I buy (honestly, I swear I try and then buy!). So thank you guys for that. I was just wondering what everyone else found that they love most about what they do (other than the cash obviously ).
I like making money but there is just fuck all job satisfaction. There is no physical product at the end of the day. It's all just ones and zeros!!
I just love not operating inside a set of rules. Sure, there are still rules, but blackhatting/greyhatting enforces the constant challenge of having to step outside such parameters. Plus, you also have to deal with the challenge of staying on your toes. Your method just may die out in ten minutes. There's always something new and different. In the monotonous world of 9-5's and boring robot work jobs, BH/GH provides just enough edge to prevent mental stagnation. Sorry for sounding wordy, I haven't drank my breakfast yet.
For the past 8-9 years I have loved waking up, putting the kettle on, switching the computer on, rollling a few smokes and looking at my sales stats from the day/night before...you cant beat that! If the sales stats are bad I just go back to bed and hope that they will be better once I get up again, hahahahaha!
I like doing what I want to do when I want to do it. I like how absolutely no one tells me what to do at any time be it a boss (I don't have one), police (I don't do anything illegal), or a wife (I'm not married and my gf is cool as fuck). Of course, since I can do anything I want, I often end up working 60+ hours per week because...well...I like what I do for work.
I like the fact that I can do what I do from anywhere on earth, meaning that winter is completely optional.
You can feel a little anonymous sometimes. I guess why those guru types make videos of themselves just to let the internet know they are real people and not just bots!
Not having to be someplace at 8:30 am and being told what to do. That's basically it. I don't care how much I make with IM. As long as SOMETHING comes in, then I'm perfectly happy. Note: my previous job at the office paid $60 an hour. I just don't care anymore.
