    Hi Guys,

So as some of you may know I make free IM/SEO software over at www.supagrowth.com/no-opt. Like literally free, you can't spend any money on my stuff and there isn't even any affiliate links. I make zero dollar. Its my plan to monitise it somehow one day but right now I'm just building a solid set of tools and growing a brand.

I had this idea for a new tool as I'm nearing the completion of another 3 i'll need something new to work on soon. I call it "Missed long tails". I was told from an early age imagination was one of my key strengths...

Its a pretty simple idea really. You enter your website URL, it will crawl your website and download every page then check the keyword density, metas tags etc to guess what keywords you're attempting you rank for. You can tweak these guesses before it does its main bit. Once its crawled your website it will use google suggest to find out which long tail keywords you're not including in your content.

For example. You own SoDrunkUpIShitMyself.com, you point it at your website which has two pages one ranking for "Best larger" and one for "Best french wine".

It would be able to tell you that your content is missing the long tail keywords of "best larger for diabetics" and "best larger in the world."

And for your Wine page it would tell you you're missing the popular long tails of "best french wine brands" and "best french wine 2016".

What do you guys think? Probably something out there that does something similar but I doubt its free and crawls you're website doing this for every page you have automatically.

I think you're developing them for opt-in (as I can see in your URL).
    Nice idea

No email address is required to download my software with or without that opt out link. I just use it in case I go back to opt one day, probably won't but don't want to break BHW rules one day in case I do :)

Of course you don't but my point is about your future plan buddy
That would be a great way :D

If you think you'd like to go further with it, I think have an idea to make something good out of it. However, this can't be discussed openly.

sounds interesting, and the bhw forum is the best place to promote something like this. However, if you can i'd advise you to make it an online tool and not a desktop one, you'll miss on a lot of people that have mac osx or just don't want to install stuff on their computer - online is the way to go ;)

Yeah cross platform compatibility is a big plus. But I've found with web apps you have to buy a ton of proxies to support these kind of tools. Then your at a loss, especially if it's free.

that is true, but you don't have to offer an online version of scrapebox or senuke for example, keep it lighter - i understand that you want to keep it free, but offer it free with moderate usage ,like get the above report for 10-20 pages, you want it for a site with 200 pages, you need to pay a little in order for me to pay the server bills and everything else that's needed for this to work. People seeing the benefit in the free version will want more - this way you also get your way of monetizing it ;)

Sounds like an interesting idea, if you could add in some metrics covering ranking difficulty and competition it would be killer.

Umm I hadn't thought of that. I could easily scrape Google and analyse if anyone is targeting those long tails and if so how aggressively. Then use the moz API to get DA and make some sort of difficulty score. Thanks man!
