What Do To: Reputation Management, New Website, New Business Name

So I have a new website, new business name but not new in this particular business. We just rebranded.

So far, I've made three pages that's showing on page one and two for local keywords.

I've also have 4 out of five videos is showing on page one of Google. In this video, I changed the photo to show our price in bright colors so people searching will easily see out price in the google search field.

So far no calls. I'm thinking of adding reviews to the business to add reputation. Also, I Plan to work on our local google map. We are already on 15 citation sites except Google.

WHAT IS NEEDED ON MY END TO MAKE PEOPLE TO CALL? More reviews?

Is this a local business? 15 citations isn't a whole lot, many of the top guys in competitive metros are working with 100+.

Did you already set up your major social profiles? Twitter, FB, etc...?

You need page 1 for local keywords because the volume is so low, page 2 will yield you no traffic at all.

    Andrew,

    Thanks for the reply...

Just 15 citation for now. I know that I will need at least 75-100 for my niche.

Twitter, FB, Pinterest, linked In, etc are done. Two of the Three pages, each having 750 words, are #9 or 10 on 1st page Google.

I was thinking that a video on page one can replace a G+ local listing. I guess not. From what you're saying that I should perhaps work on my g+ local listing then??... That should not be so hard.

I'll tweak the title a little (web pages) to make people click on it.
    Any other suggestion ?

G+ listings get something like 4x more clicks and the conversions are way better. Definitely focus on this if you are a local company working with local businesses.

It sounds like you have a couple of page 1 rankings and you're not getting calls. It's probably because your keywords are too narrow. Local keywords are great, but almost all of them have VERY little volume.

I remember a couple years ago ranking for "city painter" and "painter city" and the city population was about 500k. I got maybe 1 call per week ranking #1 and #2 with two different sites.

Wow really? I have a local site in the same vertical (construction services) we're getting about 5-10 calls a week with about 15 visitors a day but we rank in the 7 box for a handful of keywords. Population is about the same.

This was a couple years ago, doubt it's changed that much since then, but I don't know what the difference is. Either way, I've been turned off on local keywords for a few years.
