well i got a few .IMG movies that i got from bt jun kie but i have not idea what i need to open them i have magiciso and poweriso, but they are just trial versions that have expired.

Is there anything out there that is free i can use? i want to put the movie on an external hard drive in a .avi format or something a little more universal.

    Install Daemon Tools, it´s free.
    It´s a virtual cd/dvd drive.

    Code:
    http://www.daemon-tools.cc/home
With this you can mount the img. file and look at the content and copy it to your drive to convert.

I install all my soft from mounted cd´s or dvd´s this way and watch all my movies from mounted dvd´s.
