What do I need to do to make my (auto)blog profitable?

theiphoneguide.info is my site.
I recently created it, i get several hundred visitors daily, but no one is clicking. The site is fairly new, maybe not even a month old, im not even sure if the big G has indexed my pages yet.
What do I need to do to increase my clicks on my ads? I am going for a mini niche, so would building backlinks make it more effective? And do I need to make a twitter and promote there? I'm considering buying an xrumer blast, anything else i should consider buying?
What about my ad placement? are text ads better than image? Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I just need some advice. I'd rather make large site that makes more money than tons of small sites that bring in low to no income.
my other site which I haven't worked on as as much, i just kinda threw up some feeds and a theme.

Also, wp-o-matic is not fetching my posts on either of my sites! I did cron job for both of them, but they only fetch if I do it manually.
If anyone could help me out that'd be great. Maybe PM me, and if you can help me get these sites running efficiently, I would be will to make a "donation: of sorts to whoever helps. And I'm sure the better help you give, the better a donation a coulod give you?

Your site does not look professional enough, its all over the place. Its my guess that most people dont stay on your site long enough to see your ads.

The first thing I noticed is your banner is nice, just find a better way show the website name over it. The white on green doesn't work, makes it hard to read (also use a different font than ARIAL). Also think about adding another column with some widgets... tag cloud, skyscraper ad, categories, etc.

Other than that I can't really help, since mine probably isn't much better!

He didnt ruin your chance. we are here to help.

But building links a must for any site. And search google for SEO for blogs, and you will find all you need to know.

xplicit has said it all. Being frank, the site is ugly and needs to be cleaned up quite a bit, but the good news is that it can be fixed with a little "sweat equity".

Don't use the plugins? Why is that? I guess its just easier to post in the widgets? Shouldn't I hav at least ome to auto post the ads in my articles?
And ads default color scheme is bad? How do i even know what color i need to make the ads when i cant view them from my own IP?

Alright, I'm go do a huge cleanup, especially with plugins. I have about 3 different "easy" Ad sense that I got from when I realized you can't view your own ads.
I think I'm going to add an ad on the left widget space, how do I change the ad sizes? I want a 125 x 50 size one methinks.

And does anyone know why my wordpress admin loads so slow? It gets stuck at loading half page on most anything so it takes awhile to anything done? A lot of my laziness and confusion has come from the admin pages loading slower than a turtle with its head up its ass.

Your site loads incredibly slow, you also have adsense stacked up all at the top, and the banners at the top are a little too large. On the brightside, the color scheme isn't horrible. Try to integrate your adsense into your posts more so that they don't stand out as much, and visitors are more likely to click on them. Wordpress and such CMS sites are popular because they are easy on the eyes and well organized.

Okay, I'm adding a skyscraper style ad on the left widget, as well as a (better) thick horizontal banner ad on the space below the top site name banner.
The third add will be posted with every post.
However the speed at which my site loads infuriates me,

I m declaring war on my wordpress until I figure out why ITS LOADING SO FUCKING SLOW.
The site itself only tskes seconds itself to pull up and olad completely. however, anything in the admin many takes ages to load, and many refreshes, which halfway explains why everything looked so shitty. What is the problem here and how do i fix it? I have TONS of addons and tONS of themes that are not currently being used, coud it be those? I also have 2 other domains under the same account, and although they recieve little to no traffic, they also have all those extra add dons.

Also, is there a way of like resetting the site completely back to a certain point? Because I feel like I have made many stupid changes that could cause my site errors later down the road. Plus if I reset it, I'd have a clean slate of which i could make a template for my other sites.

I'm considering strting a new topic, this one has gotten its point, but cant ask what all I need. So... Look for my next topic. It wil be a lot more to the point.
