I dont know what to do with it, it says to add it, but where do i add it to WordPress?
In Wordpress add any product image
which you are promoting and link it with your Hop Link
You go to a different forum. Jesus christ. I swear there should be an aptitude test to enter bhw. This forum should be closed off to ppl who have the slightest idea what IM is.
Hah just had the same thoughts. It is fine if you are a newbie, but geez, mixing this up with the good topics on BHW sucks. Therebshould.be a newbie forum for the real beginners questions. Not based on the nr of posts...
To answer it anyway: Do you know what a link is? It is something that people can click on so they go to another website. If you fill in the clickbank hoplink people will go to the offer that belongs to that link. That hoplink is constructed in such a way that it automatically tracks.which users.came from your aite and if they buy something, you get the money.
This is less of a marketing question and more of a basic web development question. You may want to brush up on how to create a website and how they function.
Or at least give a short test to make sure people know how to do searches on google. LOL
First you need to learn a little about links. Go to google and search for "html links" and "bbcode links". Then do another google search for "how to use hoplink on wordpress".
That should give you a starting point.
There is really too many different places that you can use a hoplink to list every possibility, but here is some basic info.
Your hoplink is the url you will be using when you create any html or bbcode links. Which you will need to use will depend on where you are using it. If your writing your own articles and posting them on your own website or on any article directories (that allow embedded links) then you'll use the html format. If your posting on forums then you'll usually need to use the bbcode format.
If you want to create image ads then do a google search for the "img src" and then use that tag as the anchor in your html link (that you learned about in the first google search I told you to do).
If your making comments on blogs then you'll usually need to use html links within the comment (if allowed) although some blogs might use bbcode instead. If the blog has an input box for your website then you won't need to create a link, just insert the hoplink in that box (usually including the http://).
If you have a WP them that automatically creates ads for you then just enter the hoplink url into whatever boxes that ask for it. If you just have a regular theme then you'll probably just have to use a textbox widget and then put your html link in that textbox (you can use either a text anchor or an img src anchor, either way will work).
Before asking too many more questions you should also go to the downloads forum here on bhw and look for any clickbank tutorials to download. Read through a few of those "how to make money with clickbank" ebooks and you should start getting a better idea of what's involved. Just don't get excited by the hype, it's going to take more work than a lot of the ebooks make it seem, but most of them will give you a better understanding of how it all works.
You should also to a google search for the "affiliates bible", you'll find a few different ebooks with the same name but most of them do a fairly decent job of explaining the basics.
As a final note - you might try to figure out how to navigate the different forums here at bhw as well. You can learn a lot more on this topic if you search or browse the "clickbank" forum (which would have been a more sensible place to post this thread) and/or the "affiliate programs" forum.
