I stumbled on an interesting article about Endurance International Group, who is the owner of Hostgator, Bluehost and 50 more brands.

I did know that Hostgator was sold to EIG but didn't know they own 50 more hosting brands. Read the article it has some solid information
about who EIG is and how to choose a hosting company that not is under EIG and why.

is there any hosting for adult websites cheap and stably except Hostgator ? My demo websites hosted by free hosting and always get CPU exceed error

I think certifiedhosting have a company that is good for adult hosting, not sure though.

This is an old news.

Basically they want to monopolize the hosting industry.

If they have a competitor they buy it.

There were so many threads floating around when the news came out that EIG has purchased Hostgator and some people did transferred their websites from Hostgator to other hosts but eventually, most of the people didn't saw any huge effect in their support or downtime, no matter who their owner is, if they provide cheap and reliable services, people prefer to use them.
