This thread is especially indented for the BHs that are not from the US. I live in the US (north carolina to be exact) and I am trying to get a better understanding of the community here. What sort of obstacles do you face aside from the obvious language in getting started in internet marketing?

IS it getting a US bank account, paypal account, US telephone number for approval to CPA companies etc....? Please chime in on this thread. I would like to know if I can help in some way.

Im from New Zealand and i dont really think there is all too much difficulty from my end. I dont think CPA companys really care that im from New Zealand. I guess the only pain is when i want to try offline marketing methods etc, which obviously cuts down my market.

    But other then that.

Ohhhh, and the government has made laws requiring all emails/voip calls to be logged by ISP's

And then theres 45% tax rate for earnings over £150k... So I guess its a lot of obsticles, I plan on moving USA soon as I can though...

The time differences are a PITA!! I hate having to stay up till 1am to call AM's from CPA companies etc...

Apart from that, it's not really a big deal :)

I do thank you for your input. Being able to work from anywhere in the world is on of the truly great features of the www .

    Agreed, time differences really suck.
In the US it's less 5-7 hours than here, but it could be worse..

Time difference (when New York is 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Jakarta would be 3 o'clock in the morning), Accents (I speak with an accent and therefore CPA AM would misunderstood me), Cannot do a lot of offline marketing (I have a good OFFLINE business in my country and I know how to drive traffic to my OFFLINE business... I am sure that I am able to use OFFLINE marketing to drive traffic to my ONLINE business... If I am doing this in Indonesia for CPA offers, this would be useless), need to buy IP from US, Bank account + Paypal account (although I think I have found a solution for this one), dealing with unstable power supply (I live in a country where power is unstable), getting paid, cannot open a lot of account if not from US (therefore have to find a virtual office in US),etc.

But the greatest thing to be living in my country is that the standard of living here is low (with 1 USD you can feed yourself for a day)... So, I am thinking of hiring and training a local Indonesian worker to do my job on the Internet (I am sure that I can get these workers on the cheap like USD150-USD200 per month)... I just need a proper execution to my idea though...

I can get all of those things you listed, I tried but couldn't think of any boundaries. The internet erases all physical borders. Also where I live one dollar matches the USD equally. I use them both quite seamlessly. It's like living in America without living in America.

No real problems for me I'm from the UK, I think as long as you are from Europe/Australia/New Zealand you won't get any major problems except for time zones.
