    Hey all,

I've made a squeeze page, and i've made an account on aweber with 3 weeks worth of follow up messages. I have gotten 43 subscribers from solo ads. But no one buys. By the fifth email the open rate is 2.5%

I want to ask all the experienced email marketers out there. What are some of the mistakes that I could be making? I mean, what kind of tone do you use in your emails? What kind of offers do you pitch clickbank stuff, your own? And what do you think makes your list a buyers list instead of a stale unresponsive list?

    Thanks for the help

In my squeeze page I redirected them to a click bank video "work from no home" mentioned it as a FREE video that reveals stuff. I then sent them a "thank you for subscribing" email. I want to know how much of a successful email list depends on ME and how much depends on the SUBSCRIBERS. I mean can you really "convince" people to spend money or is it basically about finding people who are already willing to spend on my products? If anyone would like a swipe of my messages and critique them then feel free to pm me.

I will pm you my squeeze page. Pictures worth a thousand words. For everyone else, it's basically offering a "free video seminar" and it's single opt-in. The video is a promotional video for a clickbank product. "work from no home" the product is about building a niche site and seo it. Not mine, i'm just promoting it because it had high gravity. I'm more confused about the approach I should be aiming for if I want long term wealth from list building. Should I just spend the first 3 or four emails offering free stuff and building a "relationship"? Or what? I would want to know what sort of stuff to take into consideration when building a list with the aim of generating long term wealth.
