every morning, when you wake up, what is the first thing you do to motivate yourself to keep going with your goals?

I would always exercise, it may seem odd to a few. But hitting the gym in the morning really makes me wide awake and i'm able to concentrate more on things

Sleep makes a big difference for me. If I sleep well and get up early, I'll be motivated.

How broke I was 2 years ago and how established I am now or will be in future.

Actually, once you start enjoying what you do, you won't need motivation.

I think about the bike I want to buy this Dec.
I kept it as a wallpaper so whenever I get lazy which I do get frequently I look at that sexy bike....

The >>ONLY thing that motivates me is getting to action.

I've been insanely motivated these last few weeks because of that. I honestly find that if I just sit down, and do *1* productive thing, then I immediately have to do another productive thing, and it's like an addictive cycle that doesn't stop till my brain is jumbled and I can't think straight.

Women motivate me too... but more to work out. Not make money.

I also found this out. Make your work space as COMFORTABLE as possible. This made a huge difference for me after someone showed me a photo of what "proper computer posture" looks like. So I reorganized my workspace, made sure my keyboard was low by my knees, made sure I had a soft, comfortable sofa, screens at the right height and distance etc.

I had such a screwed up set up (I posted about it a while ago) and that alone was killing my motivation. But now I just "slide" right into my work space. Everything is exactly where it needs to be. So I just get to work and once I get going I can't stop.

There is that whole concept of "microcommitments" too. And honestly, the way I see it, just make 1 commitment. That's it. Wake up and do that. I stopped making daily lists also. Some people say they help, for me I always feel like I'm falling short of my goals. But when I let my brain choose what to do, I find I'm wayyy more productive.

One last thing. I find that motivation can come in cycles. Like at one point I didn't work for 3 months straight. All I would do is wake up, work out, and watch YT or documentaries all day. After a few months of that I became extremely desensitized to entertainment. Nothing was fun anymore. I realized how unbalanced my life was then started my "work cycle". Now that I'm in a work cycle I don't watch any tv, no more documentaries, no distraction at all. I work out. I work for 8 hours. Then watch 1 movie before going to bed, wake up and repeat.

ps. The "passion" thing helps a lot too. I'm very passionate about what I do cause I do it with my brother (run a business). And when I work I feel like I'm working for him. I do all the marketing, he handles all the sales. And tbo, when I wake up everyday I think, "I'm gonna make my brother rich". I don't think, "I'm gonna make myself rich". I find when I have that mindset I'm much more motivated and will work a lot harder.

My family. It may seem simple but I want to provide for my immediate family and my family that I want to create in the future. Life doesn't wait for you and sometimes you have to kick-start the engine.

I daydream or imagine that I should look forward to this day and do my best to be a future CEO of a fortune company.

I never have to motivate myself really. I love business and setting up companies
or managing them is a passion of mine. If you need outside motivation then be wary because
most of the time you won't find it.
