Just hours left until that ball drops and 2013 is here! (looks like we survived that Mayan apocalypse) I made up a few questions that we can all answer, and learn from each others' experience, and make even more money in '13.... What are your main IM projects? I actually discovered IM on January 1st, 2012. So this is actually about my one-year point. I read and learned for about a month, then I started one website in late January. I started up another one in April and later sold it for $300. I started up two in July that are still running. I started up another one in late November, but I haven't had much time to work with it yet. That leaves me with four websites total (all my sites promote Clickbank products) I also did a little work with Adult FriendFinder. How much money did you make? As of right now, my profit is $436.11. I actually got paid $1,119,23 total, but I had to spend quite a bit on servers, domains, IM products and services, etc. What were your biggest mistakes? I probably did not need to spend as much money as I did. I got frustrated with basic things like on-page SEO and just not getting enough traffic, and I assumed that throwing money at it (via SEO services) would solve everything. Nope. I should have worked harder on creating great content and basic SEO before I spend money on something like that. Selling that one website. It was making a nice steady stream of cash for a few months, then it slowed way down. I thought it had run it's course and was dried up. But due to recent world events, that niche is booming nowadays. The guy I sold it to is probably making a killing. Being lazy. There were so many times I had a week off work or something, and I partied and slept in instead of using that time to bolster my IM empire. I guess not doing my 9-5 job throws my whole schedule off. I need to get in the habit of treating IM work as something that I have to do, like exercising. I've exercised every single day for about two years now. I never skip a run or a workout. I just need to develop that habit with IM. What are your plans for 2013? Spend less money. Take more time in deciding if I really need a product or service, and whether or not it will help me. Not be so quick to offload projects that seem to be faltering just a bit (like that website) If something looks like it's not working out, I'm going to find out why and try to fix it. I'd like to do more paid article writing. I've always been good at writing and if I put my mind to it, I could probably crank out several good articles in one day. Do some CPA. I got approved by a large and popular CPA network months ago, but it was not as easy as I thought. My latest website is a landing page for a CPA offer, and I just need to get my ass to work promoting that site. NOT BE SO LAZY.
