It all depends on what niche you're targeting, some niche keywords you can probably get for 5ยข each, but other niches could cost you a dollar or more.

Whatever CPC makes you profitable. I have found that they charge more for clicks in the first few days of the campaign. CPC goes down depending on QS, CTR, etc... But yeah, it all depends on niche, really.

For my niche, I'd pay microsoft about $5 a click. Technically since their traffic is lower quality than Google, I only pay about $1.50 per click and get a conversion rate of 68% which is low for my niche. As it stands, any type of cpc that won't make it costly for the junk traffic they will cycle through to make money from you.
